NBA Trade Deadline Recap

Well with the NBA trade deadline coming to an end I thought it would benefit everybody for me to sum up everything thats went down in the past 48 hours.

We saw one of the biggest trades go down in the league since Pau Gasol to LA, Carmelo Anthony along with Chauncey Billups and a few others found themselves in New York uniforms by way of Denver in return for the Knicks young nucleus of Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and back up big man Timofey Mozgov. So far each is team is 1-0 with their newly revamped lineups so we'll see how each fairs by the end of the season. new York also received former Florida Gator Corey Brewer from Minnesota in return for Eddy Cury and Anthony Randolph.

In one of the more surprising moves this week, one of the NBA's top Point Guards in Deron Williams was sent to the New Jersey Nets in return for Devin Harris and Derrick Favors as well as some cash and picks.

Another unexpected trade sent Sonics Thunder forward Jeff Green and center Nenad Krstic to the Boston Celtics for big man Kendrick Perkins and Seattle native Nate Robinson. The Washington Wizards also shook things up a bit by trading guard Kirk Hinrich and forward Hilton Armstrong to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Mike Bibby, Jordan Crawford, Maurice Evans and a 1st-rd pick this summer.

Portland also made a move by acquiring forward Gerald Wallace from Michael Jordan's Bobcats for Joel Przybilla and two future 1st-rd picks. The sorry-looking Cleveland Cavaliers also made a move by trading guard Mo Williams and high flyer Jamario Moon to the LA Clippers for Baron Davis. Sorry Blake.
